Job Description:
Headway, a leading innovator in mental health care, is seeking a
dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive counseling services to
our diverse clientele, leveraging our seamless connections with
mental health professionals and our commitment to making mental
health care readily accessible through insurance. If your passion
aligns with creating positive outcomes in mental health, and you
aim to empower individuals through dedicated therapeutic support,

health treatment. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to
address clients' emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan or
coordinate treatment, drawing on social work experience and patient
needs. Implement therapeutic strategies suitable for addressing a
range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to
complex trauma. Develop personalized treatment plans based on
comprehensive assessments and regular evaluations. Offer crisis
intervention as needed and assist in emergency situations. Maintain
accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions,
assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Participate in
ongoing professional development to ensure the application of
current best practices in mental health therapy. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Expertise in various
therapeutic techniques and models, including CBT and DBT. Ability
to maintain professionalism and ethical behavior at all times.
Proficiency in using electronic health records and teletherapy
platforms. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid state license as a Licensed Professional
Counselor (LPC). Certification in specialized areas of treatment
(e.g., trauma, substance abuse) is preferred but not required.
